The best thing to do if you want to help, is to hop into the IRC room and speak to Nate and Gwoo about wanting to help. You should also take a look at the &lt;a href="https://trac.cakephp.org/report/1" rel="nofollow"&gt;bug list&lt;/a&gt; and see what you could help with and submit any patches and tests to the ticket.</description>

		<description>I had thrown out an offer to help with development and I see this post today which explains why I hadn't heard from anyone.  I run a web development company and intend to use CakePHP for new development and would like to offer a hand where it can be used.  Please let me know what you need and congrats!  I look forward to seeing a release of 1.2.</description>
